Our standard timber pallets are purpose built to carry either 1 tonne or 2 tonne and come with a range of choices that include;

Our softwood, to make standard softwood pallets, is sourced from sustainable pine forests throughout NSW in strict adherence to our environmental policy.
Environmental Impact: Softwood takes up to 4 years to break down in landfill.
Our hardwood, to make standard hardwood pallets, is also sourced from sustainable hardwood growth areas throughout NSW whenever possible.
Environmental Impact: Hardwood takes up to 10 years to break down in landfill.

Our standard timber pallets can be made from the following softwood timber board depths;
- 100mm Width x 1165mm Length x 19mm Height
- 100mm Width x 1165mm Length x 25mm Height
Top Lead Boards give extra strength and durability during handling of a standard timber pallet.
Bottom Lead boards are suitable to create a standard softwood pallet that fits snugly in your racking system.
- 150mm Width x 1165mm Length x 19mm Height
- 150mm Width x 1165mm Length x 25mm Height
Our standard timber pallets can be made from the following hardwood timber board depths;
- 100mm Width x 1165mm Length x 25mm Height

The size of the softwood bearers that we use in our softwood pallets are based on what dispersed weight the pallet will carry. Generally we will use;
- 35mm width x 1165mm length x 95mm height
The size of the hardwood bearers that we use in our hardwood pallets are based on what dispersed weight the pallet will carry. Generally we will use;
- 35mm width x 1165mm length x 95mm height
Softwood
Hardware
The Pros of using a softwood pallet;
- If a forklift forks hit a bearer, it will only dint, not split.
- The nails in softwood generally won’t pop out during transport caused by vibration.
- Lightweight and able to be manually carried by a male.
The Cons of using a softwood pallet;
- If softwood gets wet, and then dries out, it has a tendency to warp. This may mean your softwood pallet would not sit flat on the ground without wobbling.
The Pros of using a hardwood pallet;
- Hardwood is even more durable and is able to carry heavier loads.
- Hardwood is more weather tolerable than its counterparts and gives a longer lifespan.
The Cons of using a hardwood pallet;
- If a forklift forks hit a bearer, it can split the hardwood.
- The nails in hardwood can pop out during long distance transport creating loose boards caused by vibration.
